Authors Up was established by Andrea L. Hines, Ruth E. Griffin and Victoria E. Henderson to provide a platform for first-time and established authors to share their books and writing journey.
The show aired in November 2019 as internet radio, and the first guest was welcomed January 2020. The three co-hosts quickly found their rhythm, sharing the ups and downs of their lives in their weekly review, as well as offering writing and publishing tips for writers and would-be writers. They held contests, put on “old-fashioned” radio productions and hosted writing challenges. They transitioned to internet television in July 2021 and expanded the scope of their show to include a book club and a recording of a live broadcast.
Authors Up has had the pleasure of featuring over 100 authors from across the United States, Canada, England and Australia. Their books are available in the new Authors Up bookshop.
Andrea, Ruth and Victoria continue with their mission to give authors a platform, offering inspiration, laughter and insight along the way.
New episodes of Authors Up air live on the ALH Broadcasting Network on Facebook and YouTube on Sunday evenings at 7pm Eastern Time Zone (with replays airing the following Saturday on Facebook).
